peace with earth...

i joined an organization caring for the environment. the name of which is greenpeace.
i've actually always wanted to join something like this, but its only now i've come to realize this longing.
why do people join a group when it wont seem likely to help them personally???
i joined because i need to satisfy my want and my conscience.

when i was younger, i was eager to know things especially concerning the atmosphere, the environment, the cosmic world, the biodiversity. acid rain, photosynthesis, nuclear fission and fusion, the chernobyl disaster etc was clearly imprinted on my mind. i remember eventhough i was in highschool already i really liked the educational programs that local channels are showing (like sineskwela etc...).the way they presented it with moving pictures made it more interesting. thus, my mind was openned to science of life and our world. until now i would prefer watching national geographic and discovery show than watching showbiz stuff.
and what more the spiritual teachngs i received made my ideals on preserving and conserving life and the environment, firmer.

i'd like to say that by joining this group i am doing my share of conserving life and the world, i
am only one but isn't it that before you have a group effort, the different ones were united by a common goal.

i like pens and pencils...

i like them because i love to write my thoughts and sketch my feelings.
they are my instruments of expressions. i used to have a "pen-notebook" journal.
yes, the ordinary one which listens to me and waits for my thoughts, until now.

i have decided to use the online journal or the pormanteau of web log.
really i had numerous attempts before, but its only now i standed firm with this thought.

i still like pens and pencils, but now i like to use all of my fingers when writing by typing...
